Hong Kong and the Mainland are increasingly connected following the Reunification. To enhance Mainland people's understanding of Hong Kong and its latest developments, the Beijing Office has joined hands with China National Radio (CNR)'s Channel 7 (Hua Xia Zhi Sheng) in co-producing the "Beijing-Hong Kong Through Train" programme from 2001 onwards. The target audiences are people living in southern China.

"Beijing-Hong Kong Through Train" is broadcast on CNR's Channel 7 (FM87.8) in Cantonese and Putonghua from 12:00 to 12:30 on Saturday.
